Georges St. Pierre

Dana White and Georges St. Pierre seem to get along fine for a couple of guys who disagree about most everything having to do with MMA. They have both been complimentary about each other, but have publicly disagreed with one another on multiple occasions.

Recently Georges St. Pierre was featured as one of the faces of the new MMA Athletes Association. This after negotiations for his UFC return broke down. During those negotiations White said that GSP “doesn’t want to fight”.

Their biggest spat may have been after UFC 167, when GSP won a controversial split-decision against Johny Hendricks and then announced he was walking away from the sport. White was furious, feeling the controversial decision warranted a rematch. Of course this was also the fight that Hendricks refused advanced drug-testing which GSP offered to pay for (after initially agreeing to it). And we’ve all seen how Hendricks has performed since USADA-testing began.
