Nevada Athletic Commission
It’s not Nick Diaz that’s getting knocked here, it’s the criminally insane and corrupt members of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The air tight defense presented by Diaz’s defense in the case of his bungled UFC 183 drug test results seemed more than enough to clear him of the standard suspension, but the NAC had other ideas.
Instead of going with their noggins and contemplating the compelling evidence, the Commission decided to act on emotion and hand down a ridiculous five year ban to Nick Diaz.
He was also fined $165,000, and the MMA world was suddenly in uproar. We banded together as a collective to get over 100K signatures in one month for Diaz’s White House petition, but they too turned their back on Diaz’s case.
Thankfully the UFC legal team was able to step in, and it’s believed Diaz will be back in action in 2016.
Shame on you Nevada!

Anderson Silva and his viagra defense
As if it wasn’t bad enough that Anderson Silva tested positive for steroids after his UFC 183 decision win over Nick Diaz, he decided to go with one of the worst ever tactics in his Nevada State Athletic Commission hearing.
‘The Spider’ claimed he had ingested a mysterious vile of liquid from a friend in Thailand, insisting that the strain of anabolic steroid found in his system must have originated from this glowing purple vile of penis juice.
Shockingly the commission didn’t buy his dishonest story, but even more controversial was the ban he received; one year. Compared to Nick Diaz’s highly questionable failed drug test for weed, Silva was getting off very lightly.
His win over Diaz was changed to a no-contest, and Silva has just been booked in to face Michael Bisping on February 27, 2016 in London, England.
