There are those that say that Ronda Rousey should not receive an immediate title rematch. This is entirely based on each person’s own subjective opinion on when ex-champions should receive rematches however. No actual booking guidelines regarding this exists.
There are those that say if a champion has cleared out their division and defended the title multiple titles that they should get a rematch no matter how they lose the title. Others disagree and think rematches are only for close decisions and results considered flukes.
This is the likely next fight for Ronda Rousey. Rumours are that the UFC is trying to make this fight happen, possibly at UFC 207 in December.
This is also going to be a very difficult fight for Rousey. The book on Nunes is if you can survive an early flurry, she starts to falter later in the fight. Tate couldn’t withstand the early flurry, but possibly Rousey can.
