4.) Backstage Brawl at PRIDE FC Featuring Wanderlei Silva and Krazy Horse
Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett is one of the most unique characters from the early years of mixed martial arts. Bennett spent the early part of his adulthood in and out of prison for selling drugs. After dropping out of high school, he focused on a career in MMA. His strange, funny, and entertaining style has made him one of the most memorable fighters of all time.
In a video that was shared by Chute Boxe Academy, Bennett is shown attacking Cristiano Marcello backstage during a PRIDE event in Japan. Marcello was the team’s BJJ head coach at that time. Bennett threw punches and ended up on top of the Brazilian. Marcello twice locks up a triangle choke, eventually finishing it and leaving Krazy Horse snoozing on the floor. After the video’s release, Bennett claimed that he knocked at Wanderlei Silva during the scuffle.
