Josh Neer vs. Brian Green
Last year former UFC fighter Josh Neer and Brian Green clashed backstage at an Ascendency Fighting Championships event in Iowa.
Green, a journeyman who holds a 32-24 career record, claimed afterwards that it was Neer who started the altercation behind-the-scenes while the main event was taking place.
Green stated that Neer had “attacked” him twice in the dressing room, at which point he retaliated by hitting him with a three-piece combination.
“Yo someone ask ‘THE DENTIST’ JOSH NEER if he still had his teeth?” Green taunted his rival on Twitter amid reports that he’d knocked out one of his teeth during the scrap.
Neer confirmed that they had indeed fought backstage, claiming that it was the result of a three-year war-of-words from Green on social media, which had led to him confronting him face-to-face.
“We got into a little scuffle and he got snatched up by his neck and rag-dolled around,” Neer wrote. “I didn’t wanna punch him bc I didn’t wanna go to jail. He punched me and my False tooth came out. It just needs screwed back in. He can act like he did something. But the tooth screw was already loose from my fight 2 weeks ago. He’s not getting a payday so if he wants to fight, he knows where I live.”
