One of the many awesome things about Tate is that despite being one of the most successful female mixed martial artist of all time, she’s not afraid to do photo shoots and pose in various states of undress.
Tate’s emotional defeat of Holly Holm at UFC 196 to win the championship was an epic moment in the history of MMA.
Miesha will defend her title against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200.
Honorary Mention: Rin Nakai
Rin Nakai didn’t have much success in the UFC despite her impressive glute muscles. Nakai makes a living as a model for many softcore magazines and DVDs in Japan, but has had success as a combat athlete before.
Nakai is undefeated in the Japanese Pancrase promotion, but went 0-2 in her UFC career losing to Leslie Smith, and then to Miesha Tate, both of whom I imagine could also make a nice living in the Japanese soft-core porn industry if they ever chose to do so.
