5. Hector Lombard – Julie’s Mystery Pills
After defeating Josh Burkman at UFC 182 Hector Lombard failed a post-fight drug test. The excuse he offered up was not overly plausible, but even if it is what happened, it doesn’t make him look very smart.
Lombard’s story was that he was really sick with the flu and a friend who he will only refer to as “Julie” pressured him to take these mystery pills to make him feel better. As Lombard put it this Julie woman peer-pressured him into taking pills that Lombard believes caused his drug test failure. In an effort to prove his story he submitted all the text message history between he and Julie regarding the mystery pills.
There is of course the possibility that Julie was not happy with Lombard for some reason and wanted him to fail his drug test. Hopefully Lombard learned his lesson and will no longer take mystery pills from women who might have it out for him.
