3. Stephan Bonnar – Wanted to be a Wrestler

Bonnar failed a post-fight drug test after his UFC 153 loss to Anderson Silva and offered up the explanation that he was trying to put on weight to transition into pro-wrestling.  While at least Bonnar was being honest he ended up being off of speaking terms with Dana White for awhile afterwards.

Dana was reportedly upset that Bonnar hadn’t informed him he was going to fail the drug test when he accepted the short notice fight with Silva.   Bonnar and White have had a great relationship after Bonnar and Griffin caused a ratings bonanza during the finals of the 1st Ultimate Fighter finale.

Bonnar by the way, has never transitioned into pro wrestling.  Unless you count Bellator.
