3. Michael Chandler vs. Eddie Alvarez III

The Bellator lightweight champion and the UFC lightweight champion have fought each other twice (both for the Bellator lightweight championship). In the first fight Chandler choked out Alvarez and took his title. In the rematch however, Alvarez squeaked out a split-decision victory.

A trilogy bout was scheduled with the Bellator lightweight championship on the line, however Alvarez had to pull out due to injury, and then later left the promotion altogether.

Alvarez lost his first fight to Donald Cerrone in the UFC, but then defeated Gilbert Melendez and Anthony Pettis to earn a title shot against Raphael Dos Anjos. In July the title fight headlined a UFC fight night, and Alvarez knocked out the champion in the 1st round.

Back in Bellator Chandler won back the Bellator lightweight title back in June.

Someday these two need to meet again.
