UFC 163: Aldo vs Korean Zombie
The event had originally penciled to put Aldo up against Anthony Pettis, but the challenger was forced to bow out of the event due to an injury. The UFC did all it could to make the fight card enticing, by putting Chan Sung Jung in the main event to draw on the Korean’s rising popularity.
However, it suffered horrendously. Aldo had a tough time taking out Jung to retain the featherweight title. But the numbers also had difficulties to rise up as the show only garnered 170,000 buys.
