Here’s one great example of a fight that sits just within the limits of a freak show. 270 lb Roger Neff fights UFC veteran Pete Williams (235 lbs). You may recognise Williams as the first man to ever win by head kick knockout in the UFC, he did so against Mark Coleman at UFC 17.

In this rarely seen fight, Williams fights wrestler/bodybuilder turned MMA fighter Roger Neff. It did not last long.

What a great knockout by Williams, who retired with a 12-6 pro record.

Now here’s a proper freakshow fight from the archives. Fedor Emelianenko, long considered the greatest heavyweight in the world, fought the giant Hong Man Choi in Japan.
