Clearly, it Runs in the Family… Tony McGregor Demonstrates His Power as he Enters Beast Mode in Dublin…
If you haven’t come across Conor McGregor’s dad before, you should really check out his Instagram. Tony is truly a unique personality and is also a visible beneficiary of his son’s massive wealth.
He regularly poses in flash suits, with nice cars, and seems to spend his days cruising around the Irish coast in his yacht, the 188. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. McGregor Jr. is entitled to look after his family, and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t enjoy it.
However, it’s clear that there’s more to Tony than just flash spending. He definitely likes a bit of attention, as an earlier video showed when he complained about a train ticket machine giving him back his change in coins. Now he’s released a video of him training with the heavy bag – and he’s giving it socks.

Power Puncher
This footage was taken at the K-Club in Kildare, Ireland. It’s one of Ireland’s most prestigious health and leisure centers. Tony is wearing his Reebok gear and giving it absolutely loads for the camera. In fairness, he’s worked up a proper sweat, as he blasts away on the bag.
His technique really isn’t that bad either. You wouldn’t want to caught by one of those punches, because he’s throwing real power. There’s real consistency there too, as maintains the same pace repeatedly. Good man Tony, fair play.

Coinage
Of course, we can’t talk about Tony McGregor without mentioning the video above. It’s one of the most bizarre things you’ll ever watch and went viral in Ireland and was national news as people were overcome with disbelief.
In the footage, he complains about how the Dublin metro system – called The DART – failed him by giving him back change in the form of a large number of ‘coinage’. The problem is made worse for him because he’s wearing a hand-fitted, skin-tight, Hugo Boss suit, which clearly wasn’t designed to cope with the strains of public transport. This video was widely mocked.
Pride
It’s also fair to say that McGregor Sr. has massive pride in what his son has achieved. While he was initially against Conor becoming a professional mixed martial artist, because he did not believe it was a stable enough career, he clearly only had his son’s best interests at heart, because in 90% of cases he would be right.
However, now he’s happy to flaunt his son’s achievements. From winning fights to the release of his new whiskey, Proper No. 12, there’s no denying that this family has risen from the bottom of society to the top.
