Just 10 days away is one of the most talked about boxing matches of all-time. Similar to when Muhammad Ali faced Antonio Inoki, two stars from different sides of the pond, different sports, will collide.
Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor may not have the legitimacy of say Canelo vs. GGG, but it’s no doubt fascinating. Some see the massively hyped bout as a circus, others believe any attention is good attention.
Cash is most certainly the motivator, but at the day’s end, this could still be an entertaining fight. The ‘what if’ factor plays a big role in the lead-up.

Appearing during last night’s episode of Kimmel, Mayweather made some surprising promises to the fans, before reacting to the mural of him getting KO’d by McGregor in the Irishman’s gym:
“I feel like money. We gotta give people what they wanna see, excitement. At the pace we are going right now, it’s set to be bigger than the Pacquiao fight. I feel like I owe this to the fans, the Pacquiao fight wasn’t a blockbuster, so we are gonna give them a blockbuster.”
“I don’t like (Conor McGregor), I don’t like him at all. I’m going straight ahead, I’m not going with that defense, the fans deserve it. The after party is going to be at my strip club.”
“I’ll be there (at the strip club). I got into the strip club business because I knew the breasts, vagina, music, and alcohol will never go out of style.”
“If (Conor) kicks me in the head, that’s a huge fine. I don’t think he wants to lose like 90% of the money. Conor McGregor is undefeated standing up. The one time he lost in the octagon, he was on the ground. I look forward to putting him down.”
“As of now, we need to get past August 26, then after that we can talk about maybe (fighting in the UFC).”

“McGregor is going to get killed in boxing! I got mad because I thought they were going to use MMA rules against boxing because that’s what it’s all about: Can the boxer beat the MMA guy? “McConor” put his dumbass in a position where he’s gonna get knocked out because this guy (Floyd) has been doing this (boxing) all his life since he was a baby.”
“Conor can’t kick and grab and stuff so he won’t stand much of a chance. McGregor took the biggest sucker rules in the history of boxing!”
