Former Champion Michael Bisping Has No Time For Colby Covington and Let Him Know… Live on Fox Sports…
In some of the most awkward and entertaining footage you will ever see, Michael Bisping went full Michael Bisping against Colby Covington, from the Fox Sports Desk. The American had just beaten Rafael Dos Anjos to win the interim welterweight title.
Former middleweight champion and recent retiree Michael Bisping went on full blast at Covington in an awkward and hilarious exchange. The British MMA legend is well-known for saying exactly what he thinks, and he did so from the sports desk. I miss ‘The Count’ already.

As soon as he had the opportunity to speak, Covington went off on a rant about how the panel would make excuses for RDA and nobody would ‘legitimize’ him. However, when he targeted Bisping’s head coach Jason Parillo, the ‘Count’ saw red:
“Hey, no ones making excuses Colby. You fought a good fight. Why you got to be a pr**k?
Typical Bisping. Straight to the point with not even an attempt to defuse the situation. You can bet he’s probably looking at loopholes in his retirement clause right now. That started a ridiculous back-and-forth between the two men.

If you’re a career trash talker like Bisping, you’re not going to let some up and comer shut you down. He gave Covington the full blast, shutting him down multiple times. When ‘Chaos’ tried to say they had built RDA up too much, Bisping responded:
“Even better for you. So we said he was a great opponent. You went out there, we just said, I don’t know if you care to listen… I know you just had a fight and you’ve been hit in the head a few times, but obviously, you’re not thinking straight.
If you stopped talking and opened your ears, and stopped talking so much crap for one minute, you might hear that we actually gave you some compliments.”

Top Trumps
The best bit was still to come. Covington has some weird, mad obsession with Donald Trump, who probably doesn’t even know what a Colby Covington is. He said that he was going to lay his belt down in front of the Emperor of the Galactic Empire – I mean President of the United States. Bisping wasn’t having that either:
“Do you have the invite to go to the White House, or is that just another figment of your imagination, like being the champ?”
Boom. That’s how you do it. Covington was left fumbling for words, resorting to a petty blow about Bisping’s eye. In fairness, it’s such a weird thing to be fixated on. Like how is he going to get into the Oval Office to give Trump his belt? He says it like he means it too. This is the best thing that has ever happened to Tyron Woodley. Now he has fans.
