Ilir Latifi was the underdog when he faced streaking Ovince St-Preux at UFC Orlando last night. After the Octagon door closed, the fight wouldn’t go past round one and it was a seriously brutal finish…
Fans hoping to see an exciting card in Orlando last night were not disappointed. Featured in the main event were featherweight prospects Jeremy Stephens and Josh Emmett. Although that fight ended amid some controversy, it was nonetheless an exciting and brutal finish.
The UFC on FOX 28 card delivered throughout, with exciting fights and big finishes on each section of the event. Alan Jouban scored a nasty stanky leg knockout against Ben Saunders. That fight won $50K for both competitors as the performance of the night.
Although many saw the Stephens vs. Emmett finish as the nastiest of the evening, there was another main card bout that easily contends. Ilir Latifi put Ovince St-Preux to sleep with a scary finish:

Latifi edges closer to title contention. Not only was OSP the betting favorite, he was also riding three huge finishes of his own in the Octagon. How about Alan Jouban and Ben ‘Killa B’ Saunder’s welterweight clash?
The two fought an absolute slugfest before Jouban, a former male model, was able to one-punch KO Saunders into next week. The resulting stanky leg finish was just the icing on the cake:

That was pretty damn nasty. Elsewhere on the card, Renan Barao needed a win. Again, perhaps co-incidentally (?) since the USADA era kicked in, the ex-pound-for-pound king looked like a wet flannel.
Brian Kelleher was able to drag the fight through to the end and win a clear unanimous decision on the judges scorecards. There was quite a savage knockout on the prelims, as you’ll see below, with Sam Alvey KO’ing his opponent with one punch.
It was also pretty funny, too:
