Coach Edmond would be so proud…

Ever since the first time she stepped in the octagon, Ronda Rousey was destined for stardom. Facing a division that was young and nowhere near her skill level, Rousey dominated the best of the women’s 135-pound division.

Unfortunately for the women’s bantamweight queen, this would not, could not last forever. When she finally met someone who could stop her takedown attempts, the real hole in Rousey’s game was exposed.

Ronda Rousey hit with Holly Holm’s hard head kick during their UFC 193 encounter. This strike was the most watched replay, in the coming months, in UFC history

Striking

It was an ugly, somewhat brutal affair at UFC 193 that saw ‘Rowdy’ dethroned. ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ made the ex-champ’s striking look non-existent. Later, after a certain amount of snooping, it turned out Rousey’s stand up really wasn’t there.

It was a while before the UFC machine began churning out Rousey-related propaganda again. When they did, it was under the guise of new ownership, which only made things worse, a lot worse.

WME Promotion & Second Loss

Seemingly hell bent on shoving their product down everyone’s throats, WME-IMG took the Rousey hype to a ridiculous level. Completely ignoring the current champ Amanda Nunes’ pedigree, the UFC made it seem like ‘Rowdy’ would take the belt with ease.

At this point, we’ll just mention that WME-IMG is the talent agency that manages Ronda Rousey.

It wouldn’t be long before WME was looking for a different line of work for the ex-champion. Rousey was squashed inside two minutes, as Nunes once again exposed her lack of boxing fundamentals.

TV Role “Blindspot” Fight Scenes

Off to the world of movies, and marriage to Travis Browne, as Rousey scored a role in the NBC show “Blindspot.” We have seen a few teaser trailers on social media, but nothing to give away the full scoop.

Well now we do have the full scoop, and unfortunately for Ronda and her fans, it’s not great. Appearing rather wooden in her scenes with lines, Rousey looked surprisingly even more stiff in her fight scenes.

Below is the official clip, and later you’ll find coach Edmond’s hilarious corner instructions edited in.

YouTube video

Early reports indicate a not-so-great debut for the NBC action series. Apparently Rousey’s millions of followers and fans worldwide aren’t interested in seeing her fight on screen, unless its in the octagon.

As a UFC champion, Rousey was the best seller for around two years before Conor McGregor took the reigns. With no fighting future and a somewhat flaky start in her acting career, what’s next for Ronda Rousey?

Hopefully, if she does return, coach Edmond Tarverdyan won’t be in tow. The infamous coach Edmond is often blamed for Rousey’s shocking downfall. Although, he does seem on point in the following clip:

  1. She did a great job. The people that matter were impressed enough to know that with a bit of time, she will do ok. Its only the media who want her to fail
