2. Chael Sonnen vs. Anderson Silva
Chael Sonnen saw an opportunity to make a lot of money and he took advantage. Sonnen trash-talked not only Anderson Silva but all of Brazil at times, perfectly playing a pro-wrestling “heel” role.
Sonnen then shocked everyone by dominating Silva for 4 rounds at UFC 117 before getting caught in a triangle and submitting. In the rematch at UFC 148 Sonnen was knocked out in the 2nd round.
