2. Rampage Jackson

In 2008, just a week and a half after losing the UFC LHW championship to Forrest Griffin, Rampage Jackson experienced a little break from reality.  Reportedly the ex- Pride and UFC champ was dehydrated, had not been eating, and had only been consuming energy drinks for days when he began to believe a friend of his was in danger (which was not the case).

Jackson got in his monster truck and drove erratically throughout LA, hitting pedestrians and driving on the wrong side of the street.  He led police on a chase throughout the streets of LA and didn’t even stop when his tires blew, he just kept driving on only his rims.

While he faced 3 years in prison the courts went easy on Jackson, who initially pleaded not guilty but would later admit to one count of evading a police officer.  After Rampage completed 200 community hours the judge dismissed the rest of the charges.

A woman tried to sue Jackson, claiming that she was pregnant and lost her baby due to Jackson’s reckless driving.  Doctors did not back up her claims however, and she eventually dropped her lawsuit.
