Demi Lovato has already risen to the top as both a globally successful singer and actress, but it seems she also harbours an amibition to be an MMA fighter too.
“She has brought it up a million times to us!” MMA coach Jay Glazer told TMZ with a chuckle in 2017 when asked if she’d ever fight in the cage.
“She throws elbows better than most of the UFC guys that come in there. She’s more violent than most and then she gets mad if we don’t kind of get after her harder. She’s definitely one of our fighters, without a doubt.”
Lovato has trained in all aspects of MMA and holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
“I feel the most confident when I’m in the gym; whenever I’m training – whether it’s boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu,” Lovato told US Weekly.
The 26-year-old has also been seen in attendance at UFC events, sang the national anthem at the Mayweather Vs McGregor event and has dated UFC star Luke Rockhold and Bellator fighter Guilherme ‘Bomba’ Vasconcelos.
