Tonya Evinger
A longtime MMA veteran, Evinger experienced the best form of her career outside the UFC between 2010-2017, compiling an 11-fight unbeaten run. The majority of that campaign took place in Invicta FC. She became their bantamweight champion with a win over Irene Aldana. Evinger then successfully defended it against Coleen Schneider and Yana Kunitskaya.
The UFC then offered Evinger the chance to fight for their vacant featherweight title against Cris ‘Cyborg.’ She would be dismantled by TKO inside of three rounds. Evinger was then given the opportunity to drop back down to bantamweight, but a first -ound TKO loss to Aspen Ladd followed. She’s since gone on to lose a decision against Lina Lansberg as well.
