7. “TRT” Vitor Belfort
There are two Vitor Belforts. The first version of the fighter is commonly referred to as TRT Vitor. This name describes Belfort during the period he was allowed to use testosterone replacement therapy. TRT Vitor was a feared fighter who was always in the mix with the best of the best.
Then there is post-TRT Vitor, the aging version of the fighter. When USADA banned the use of TRT for UFC fighters, they basically ended Belfort’s career along with it. Belfort most recently defeated Nate Marquardt at UFC 212 last summer. He’d lost 3 in a row before then.
