
4. Jose Aldo v Mark Hominick
The WEC champion Jose Aldo looked like a very dangerous fighter. 7 of his 8 fights in the blue cage ended by knockout and when he finally moved to the UFC the world found out how dangerous he was. He was crowned featherweight champion before he even fought for the promotion because he was obviously the best.
He was put in against Mark Hominick in the Canadian’s home state at UFC 129. It was a tremendous fight with Aldo getting the win in a classic. He’d go on to be the most successful champion in the history of the UFC’s featherweight division – although Max Holloway is now on his tail for that record.
