Dana White / Matt Serra / Din Thomas

For an episode of ‘Dana White’s Looking For A Fight,’ Dana White, Matt Serra and Din Thomas accepted a challenge to do a stand-up comedy set at the ‘Laugh Factory’ in Los Angeles.

Of course, as we’ve mentioned elsewhere, Thomas already had improv experience. But the others were coming in fresh. White, in particular, was extremely nervous at the prospect of having to tell jokes in front of a sold-out audience.

However, White confessed that he’d cheated by getting comic Tony Hinchcliffe to write his set for him. Together with his years of experience being up on stage, his set went well. Of course, it probably helped that he started by telling the audience, “everybody who laughs gets tickets to UFC 200!”

Meanwhile, well-known for being one of the UFC’s naturally funniest fighters, Serra was confident up on stage as he launched into a profanity-laced bit about Adrian from the Rocky movies. He received a thumbs up from comedian Bryan Callen backstage afterward, who told him he’d ‘killed it.’
