With the 2023 PFL Championship just hours away, fighters who will be joining the event attended PFL’s weigh-in ceremony at the promotion company’s host hotel in Washington, DC. 

The event saw many of the fighters hit their marks. However, three fighters missed the limits in their respective divisions: Ray Cooper III, Chris Wade, and Josh Blyden. With this, if their bouts are approved at catchweight, they will be fined a percentage of their purses. Wade is an exemption for that as Jenkins turned down the proposed catchweight bout. With this, Jenkins will now serve as a featherweight alternate for the Pinedo-Braga fight.
