3. Chris Arreola

Chris Arreola has been one of boxing’s most colourful characters in recent years, but he fell well short of defeating Klitschko for the WBC heavyweight title.  The fight occurred on September 26th 2009 and Arreola was coming into the fight with a 26-0 record.

After his corner threw in the towel before the 11th round an emotional Arreola let loose with a profanity-laced post-fight interview that ended up getting him suspended for six months (though he ended up fighting again that December).
