Canelo Alvarez easily dethrones Callum Smith

The physical disadvantage of Canelo Alvarez against Callum Smith meant nothing, as Canelo just easily walked through Smith. From start to finish, Alvarez just up constant pressure and dictated the pace of the whole fight. He had no respect for Smith’s power and just walked over Smith.

Canelo is easily the #1 P4P boxer in the world right now, considering the impressive dominating win against Callum Smith. It is worth noting that this is Smith’s division but he looked lost against Canelo. Smith has now suffered his first pro career loss.

With the win, Canelo becomes the WBA (Super), The Ring, and vacant WBC super-middleweight champion.

As per some reports, Callum Smith suffered a major injury in the biceps. After the fight, Smith looks to have some swelling in the biceps and Eddie Hearn may have addressed the situation.

The size disparity is insane coming to the fight but Canelo just proved that he is levels above everyone including the bigger guys. Canelo looks to be invincible, kinda like Roy Jones Jr levels of invincible. The gap between Canelo to the second pound for pound is massive. The second is likely Terence Crawford or Naoya Inoue.

Canelo fighting Smith shows that he is not ducking anyone. Smith is the king of the division prior to the fight and was undefeated. Canelo just made an easy payday, Smith had no answer and just cannot create the distance to fight outside.

Canelo is just built like a tank and has tremendous power. The only way to beat Canelo is a boxer that has speed, power, and counterpunching abilities which not many pro boxers have over Canelo. Canelo has the complete package in boxing and it is his prime years now.

With GGG winning the fight just yesterday, will both boxers collide for the third time or Canelo is just looking for another challenge that he has not faced. One name that makes fans interested is Artur Beterbiev. Beterbiev is a boogeyman that possesses tremendous power.

Beterbiev is 15-0 with all wins by knockout. He is the current WBC and IBF light-heavyweight champion. But of course, both champions will enjoy their win and take a vacation before negotiating a potential fight.
