It is a bit weird to see that the winner of the first fight is the one calling out for a rematch. Vera is known for giving Sean O’ Malley his first and only MMA pro loss. Many would say that O’Malley just suffered an unfortunate injury that made it controversial for some eyes.
Yo clown @SugaSeanMMA wanna try your luck again? Since no one wants to fight

According to Vera, the leg kick made O’Malley have numb legs that led to him slipping on the canvas. O’Malley on the other hand thinks that the kick was pure luck and it won’t happen ever again.
Who knows what really led to the gruesome injury but during that time O’Malley had the hype train at its peak mainly because O’Malley was undefeated and was coming off knockout performances.
Chito Vera has also been calling out former bantamweight champion, Dominick Cruz but it seems declined the fight. It is reasonable for Cruz since he is already 36 years old and has suffered countless injuries throughout his career. Cruz could call out TJ Dillashaw if Dillashaw somehow gets the title back as he has a win over Dillashaw.
Will O’Malley take the fight? A win over Vera is massive for his career since it basically means he avenged his only UFC loss. Not all fighters have the opportunity to avenge a loss especially early in their respective career. The bantamweight division is surely one of the stacked UFC divisions mainly because a lot of talent and big names are active in the division.
