There’s still no clear timeline for the return of Conor McGregor, and even the fighter knows it. With this, the Irish superstar lambasted the promotion, urging it to give him a fight as soon as possible.

McGregor hasn’t fought since he experienced an injury in his bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. While still recovering, the fighter returned to the USADA testing pool, making the rumors about his return louder. Then, “The Notorious” entered The Ultimate Fighter Season 31 as a coach with Michael Chandler, making many believe that the two will fight at the show’s end. The bout didn’t materialize, but “Iron” is on the top of the list that might welcome back the Irish fighter in the cage.

Unfortunately, when and where that will happen remains unknown, with McGregor revealing that he’s also clueless about it. In an interview with Talk Sport Boxing, McGregor shared how Manny Pacquiao, whom he called out, was the talk of the boxing world while UFC remains silent about its plans for him.

“Get me back in there. It’s f*cking bollocks,” McGregor said. “The Mac has loads to offer, loads to deliver. They’re talking Manny (Pacquiao). I don’t give a f*ck. They’re talking Manny here in Saudi. The lads in the UFC aren’t really talking any. So the lads here are talking Manny, and the UFC aren’t talking any.”

It can be recalled that McGregor’s team shared plans to make his return at UFC 300 in April, but it seems this will no longer be possible, with the fighter suggesting that it was scrapped by the promotion. As such, the former two-weight class champ didn’t hesitate to blast the UFC, reminding it of his contribution to the company.

“Give me something,” McGregor said. “It was supposed to be April, (and before) it was supposed to be December. They never treated anyone – no one hass ever been treated (like this) for all the figures I’ve brought in this game.

“I sell more than all of them combined. I see more than all of them combined. No one in the history of the fight game has ever been treated the way I’m getting treated – to what I came through, to what I bring … I’m waiting, I’m waiting, and I’m waiting. My patience is wearing thin.”
