Conor McGregor’s Antics Are Must-See-TV
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has certainly lived up to his moniker of “The Notorious”.
Since coming into prominence as one of the most visible UFC fighters in the world today, McGregor’s out-of-the-cage antics are must-see-TV.
Needless to say, McGregor knows exactly how to sell a fight and get people interested.
Sometimes he goes overboard however. Like that time he threw water bottles at Nate Diaz and his team at a pre-fight press conference at UFC 202.
You all remember that incident don’t you? How can anyone forget.
In case you forgot though, take a look at this video:

Well earlier today, McGregor had his day in court. The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) decided that enough was enough and that they needed to punish McGregor for his actions.
The Irishman was slapped with a US $150,000 fine, 50 hours of community service and to lead a seminar on anti-bullying.
If it means anything to anyone however, McGregor did take full responsibility for his actions and owned up to his mistakes like a man, making no excuses nor defense.
Shortly after the NSAC decision was handed down however, McGregor took to Twitter to voice out his thoughts.
And in true McGregor fashion, he makes a mockery of what kind of pay other fighters receive with this golden Tweet:
I get fined more than these bums get paid

McGregor is deep in training for his much-anticipated showdown against UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez which is set for UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
A titleholder at 145-pounds, McGregor gets the chance to become a two-division UFC champion if he were to defeat Alvarez.
It’s something that he’s wanted since he came to the UFC he says.

The pre-fight build up began with the press conference announcing the fight a couple of weeks back.
And as the event draws near, more media appearances are set and you can be sure McGregor will be right there every step of the way.
He’s a master at selling fights, and some can even argue that McGregor’s pre-fight antics are as entertaining as the fights themselves.
