Watch as UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor sings and dances on the heavy bag and does muscle ups on the rings. PS Hey Conor, you know this fight isn’t at heavyweight, right?
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is a long way from home in terms of weight classes right now. The belt he holds at 145 pounds is two weight classes or 25 pounds behind him now he’s fighting as a welterweight.
‘The Notorious’ faces fellow trash talking slugger Nate Diaz at UFC 196, but it was a case of Rafael dos Anjos becoming injured that made this fight happen. McGregor was originally scheduled to face the Brazilian UFC lightweight champion on March 5, before RDA broke his foot in training.
So now we have perhaps an even more fun fight to look forward to, and the UFC’s marketing department probably won’t have to lift a finger to make this one a sell out. There’s already been some crazy trash talk between the two, culminating in an eventful UFC 196 pre-fight presser.
So now Conor McGregor has been training hard in a new weight class, and the videos he released this week show him looking absolutely shredded and far, far bigger than his days before the featherweight fights.
