Cris Cyborg is losing her patience waiting for the PFL to give her first fight after it acquired Bellator last November. According to some, the promotion might be doing this on purpose in favor of its own fighter, Larissa Pacheco. With this, Cyborg reiterated her plan not to take the PFL champ if she is given a long layoff before her next fight.

After the PFL bought Bellator, fighters started eyeing Cyborg, including Pacheco and Kayla Harrison. The two made callouts to Cyborg, but with Pachecho winning at the 2023 PFL Women’s Featherweight Championship, PFL promised that she would be the priority in the line. Harrison, on the other hand, made a surprise jump to the UFC, leaving Pacheco the only option for Cyborg to fight.

Despite all that, however, Cyborg remains clueless about PFL’s plan for her.

In her recent post, the Bellator champ expressed her frustration over her situation and directly mentioned PFL executives Peter Murray and Donn Davis. According to Cyborg, the longer the company makes him wait, the longer Pacheco also has to wait before her next fight.

One user then replied to the tweet, suggesting that the company is deliberately doing this to make her an easier fight for Pacheco. Cyborg commented on it and reminded the company what she would do if her inactivity continues.

“I will not allow them to do this,” wrote Cyborg. “I have already said I am unwilling to have a long layoff from MMA competition and then be ‘offered’ @lpacchec (Pachecho).”
