UFC President Dana White Says Tyron Woodley is Full of S-t and Will Not Defend His Belt Against Nate Diaz…
It looks like Tyron Woodley’s dream of a money fight have been crushed. Over the last couple of days, stories were flying around the internet that the UFC welterweight champion was being lined up to welcome Nate Diaz back to competitive action.
Woodley was so confident about the fight happening that he said he was willing to bet his house on it. It’s lucky he didn’t make that bet in real life because UFC President Dana White is adamant that the fight is not going to happen. Diaz has said that the fight makes sense but White doesn’t think so.
White consistently promised that Rafael dos Anjos is next in line for the welterweight title and looks set to make that promise reality. After making his position clear in an interview on UFC Tonight, he triggered a dramatic Twitter exchange between Woodley and dos Anjos.

Not Happening
White spoke to UFC Tonight in an expletive-filled interview. He said:
“He’s homeless. He’s full of s-t. “That fight was never made. You couldn’t be more wrong. He couldn’t be more full of s-t. It’s absolutely not true. It’s so not true, that our lawyer actually hit him up today, hit his manager up and said he needs to stop saying these kind of things, because it’s absolutely not true.”
Well, that’s clear as crystal. Thanks for clarifying Dana.

Rivalry Increasing
The UFC President’s words didn’t pass unnoticed. Dos Anjos targeted his rival on Instagram, calling out Woodley, as can be seen above. He wrote:
@TWOOODLEY SHAME ON YOU #FAKENEWS
Woodley was straight back at him, tagging Nate Diaz in his tweet, suggesting there might be more truth to it than White is telling us:
Cause Dana has never told a lie in his life🤔. Maybe we should ask @NateDiaz209 if they offered me him. https://t.co/jdPpiPjjQl

Not Finished
Woodley didn’t stop there. He made it clear that the former UFC lightweight champion is not a threat to him, and should just stop trying to trash talk:
You just got busted on live tv, I'm the one that feel bad for you, I don't trash talk I talk the truth

The Real Contender
Dos Anjos is on a three-fight win streak and has just beaten former champion Robbie Lawler, the man Woodley took the belt from. White acknowledged this in his interview.
“I wouldn’t bet a nickel on it, let alone Woodley’s house. It’s not true,” said White. “It’s completely not true, and we’re looking at dos Anjos. Dos Anjos is the fight we’re looking at for Woodley. That’s the fight that’s a fair fight. He just won a great fight against Robbie Lawler; he looked good. And what I love about that fight is I think dos Anjos will bring it. He will come after Tyron Woodley, and it will be a great fight. That’s the fight that’s going to happen.”
Dos Anjos is justifiably annoyed by Woodley’s attempts to pass him over for a more lucrative fight against Stockton’s finest. The rumours just keep coming. It’s yet another nail in the coffin of Dana White and Woodley’s relationship. There might be a few twists and turns in this story yet.
