UFC president Dana White has heard the reports about Michael Bisping allegedly attacking a teenager in the gym…

With UFC 217 fast approaching, headlining acts Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre have been all over the news. Returning from a four-year hiatus, the former welterweight boss GSP debuts at 185 pounds, in a title fight no less.

Inserting ‘Rush’ straight into a middleweight championship fight has ruffled many feathers. Compounding a title run that’s already seen ‘The Count’ heavily criticized, the bout has even drawn criticism from other fighters competing on November 4.

Bisping will be Bisping, though, as he allegedly displayed during a scuffle at a gym this week. Reports circled about a confrontation with a teenager in a New York gym, where the champ apparently choked the weightlifter over a minor dispute.

Although he wasn’t arrested, Bisping is now being sued by the complainant, who claims he is having nightmares and anxiety after the fact.

Dana White’s Response

Check out UFC president Dana White’s comments on what went down. DW spoke to Mike Swick during the RQMS Podcast this week:

“Did you see some meathead got into an altercation with Bisping at the gym and is now trying to sue him?” he asked on the Mike Swick podcast. “I gotta talk to Bisping but I’m sure it’s that typical pussy who opens his mouth at the gym and then Bisping goes over. I don’t know what Bisping did to him but now he wants to sue Bisping.”

“Should have shut your f**king mouth in the first place. F**king embarrassing. You’re a clown. Guys like this are a f**king embarrassment.”

“That was Chuck Liddell’s manager told Chuck ‘Hey, choke my friend, come up behind him and put him in a choke.’“ White said. “Chuck did it, and the guy sued him. … So we had a policy around here, no more f**king choking anybody, no matter even if they ask you to do it, don’t do it.”

“You can’t touch anyone these days, man,” he concluded. “You got some meathead saying ‘Hey that’s my bench’ and trying to act like a tough guy in the gym. He’s such a tough guy he’s suing Bisping now. Apparently the guy said to Bisping ‘Do you know who I am?’ Yeah, you’re the guy that sues people. F**king pussy.”

As per the UFC 217 media call, Bisping responds to the lawsuit:

“Total bollocks. There’s your comment.”

“I haven’t even been served with papers. They’re suing the UFC, they’re suing 24-Hour Fitness, they’re suing William Morris Endeavor, they’re suing Michael Bisping. So good luck with that. It’s completely infactual. From what I’ve read about it so far, there’s many, many contradictions. Obviously, it’s a lawsuit, so I don’t want to say too much, but I can just say I’m not losing too much sleep and it’s not correct.”

“You tell me. It happened months ago. It seems very, very tactical. ‘Oh, let’s bring it out a week before the biggest fight of his life.’ Bring some attention to it, perhaps. Look for a settlement. I’m already saying too much. Good job.”
