Michael Bisping seems to think Alvarez would destroy McGregor
UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping however disagrees with idea that McGregor would stop Alvarez.
Offering his two cents on the matter, Bisping says Alvarez would ‘kill’ McGregor if they ever fought.
“I think looking at that last fight, [McGregor] does not want to fight Eddie Alvarez at 155,” said Bisping in a recent interview.
“I think Alvarez kills him man. He’ll just take him down and destroy him. I’m not saying that to be mean, I just think stylistically.”
McGregor is of course one of the premiere strikers in the UFC.
While Alvarez can definitely hold his own in the stand-up, he’ll have to rely on his wrestling to get the job done against a stylish puncher like McGregor.
Although he thinks McGregor would downright get stopped by Alvarez, Bisping was quick to offer McGregor some adulation.
“I like Conor. Conor is incredible, he’s done amazing things for this sport,” said Bisping.
“He’s brought so many eyes on to it, he’s making so much money and he’s exciting as hell. He brings excitement.”
