4. Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson II

This bout, originally scheduled for UFC 206, is rumoured to be re-booked for the spring. Likely this is your UFC 210 main event, though the light heavyweight division is prone to cancelled title fights, so don’t get your hopes up.

The real interesting question in this division is what happens when Jon Jones comes back. Dana White said he can’t trust Jones enough to promote a PPV around him, which makes it sound as though he’ll need at least one fight before he’s put in title contention.

Let’s face it, this division is in limbo until Jon Jones gets back in the cage and we see what he’s capable of in the USADA era.

  1. I’m removing scrap digest from my feed .all these articles look like they are written by a casual fan. I really hope this isn’t a 1-8 ranking of these potential fights. There is no way in hell they put Carla Esparza back in the octagon with Joanna. That is a complete mismatch. Did you see the first fight. Joanna murdered her. There’s far better options. A 3rd Gadhela fight would be much better. A Karolina rematch , or an Andrade fight. Please stop talking fights
