Never have the lines between boxing and mixed martial arts been more blurred than they have been in recent times. Floyd “Money” Mayweather continued his public call out of two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor recently. The two combat sports stars are rumored to be working on a mega cross-platform superfight.

Notable boxing vlogger Elie Seckbach posted a video recently of Mayweather, who called Nate Diaz via Skype to talk McGregor.

Diaz of course fought McGregor twice, beating him in the first bout and losing a majority decision in the rematch. McGregor has since moved on from Diaz to pursue other fights, including the megabout with Mayweather.

Mayweather and McGregor Could Figure in a Superfight Soon

In the video, Mayweather is seen talking to Diaz about McGregor.

“That’s my buddy right there,” said Mayweather. “Hold on Nate, I gotta make sure everybody follow your page, ‘cuz you put in that work.”

Mayweather then proceeded to put his conversation with Diaz on live feed for his followers.

“I think you won that second fight too,” Mayweather told Diaz. “Don’t worry, I’m getting Nate Diaz to train at my gym. You tough fam, I like you. I like your style. You gotta come out to Vegas and hang out with your boy.”

Mayweather then went on to tell Diaz how he wants to put the TMT logo on his fight shorts.

“We gonna show you love. We gonna support you too,” said Mayweather.

“I seen what you did to [McGregor], [so] I’m gonna put the finishing touches on him.”

Mayweather and McGregor have been going back and forth on social media in the past couple of weeks. Activity has really picked up.

Although UFC President Dana White has completely dismissed a showdown between the two stars, fans feel the fight is imminent. And something does feel eerie about how smack talk has increased between the two fighters just recently.

Could a fight be actually in the works? A Mayweather-McGregor superfight would be one for the history books and would shatter pretty much every record there is.
