Henry Cejudo
You might know Henry Cejudo as the latest victim of Demetrious Johnson’s stranglehold on the UFC flyweight division, but before then he was an Olympic gold medallist.
In 2007 Cejudo won the gold medal in freestyle wrestling (55kg) at the Pan-Am Games. Then in 2008 he won gold at the Beijing Olympics. From there Cejudo decided to go into mixed martial arts, where he quickly won his first 10 fights.
Cejudo fought Demetrious Johnson for the title at UFC 197, April 23rd 2016. Johnson knocked Cejudo out in under 3 minutes, it was the first time Cejudo had been unsuccessful at anything in athletics in almost a decade.
