Lerone Murphy is now out of the UFC Vegas 86 event. Fortunately for Dan Ige, Andre Fili is reportedly stepping in to keep the fight on the lineup, which will be held on February 10 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

This week, it was reported that Murphy had to exit the lineup of the event due to an injury. The promotion didn’t comment on the matter, but Ige affirmed the situation after suggesting on his recent Instagram Stories that he’s looking for Murphy’s replacement, asking his followers and fellow fighters, “Who’s it gonna be?”

Thankfully, it didn’t take long for the company to find someone who would replace his opponent: Fili. According to MMA Junkie’s Nolan King, the entrance of “Touchy” in the lineup was already confirmed by multiple sources.

This is good news for Ige, who is determined to fight on the said date, given that his wife will give birth in March. The fighter is coming from a loss to Bryce Mitchell via unanimous decision last September, but Fili experienced the same from “Thug Nasty” back in 2020. Nonetheless, Fili will be entering the cage with more confidence after his KO win over Lucas Almeida last month.
