2. Heath Herring Retired by Brock
This was just Brock Lesnar’s 2nd fight in the UFC, and the one where he figured everything out.
Early in the fight Lesnar caught Herring with a right hand so powerful that it caused Herring to do a somersault backwards across the cage and broke his orbital bone. For 3 rounds Lesnar just pounded on Heath, taking him down and driving his fists through him like he was made of butter.
Herring would later be rumoured to fight Cain Velasquez at UFC 99, but Heath would pull out of the fight due to an undisclosed illness. Dana White would later claim that Heath essentially retired after his fight with Brock.
Since retirement Herring has been involved in promoting some events and also has taken up poker. Both of those things sound a lot safer than taking punches from a man the size of Brock Lesnar.
