A former NCAA Division I All-American Wrestler, Gaethje is one of the baddest men in MMA. He is dynamic in his offense. And although he is a tremendous grappler, Gaethje always seeks the violent end to fights.
Everything Gaethje unleashes carries thudding knockout power. And he throws a varied amount of them including uppercuts and elbows, kicks and knees. He is one of the most entertaining fighters currently in the game.
Gaethje would be a perfect fit for the UFC. The fact that he’s American also holds a lot of weight and should click well with North American fans.
The current UFC lightweight champion is none other than Conor McGregor. Can you imagine a bout between Gaethje and McGregor? That would be truly epic.
