He has yet to compete in MMA, but already, grappling superstar Dillon Danis is a well-known name in MMA circles. That’s because aside from the fact that he’s a tremendously talented Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, Danis has made his presence known by serving as Conor McGregor’s BJJ coach and training partner.
Everyone knows McGregor’s weakness is his wrestling and grappling. Which is why the Irishman brought Danis to the team.
Danis is currently fielding offers from many MMA organizations that want to sign him. But there’s only one organization that really makes sense – the UFC. Should Danis sign with the UFC, and there’s a high chance he will, it would certainly shake up a lot of things.
Danis himself at least believes he would do very well in MMA. He even said he could beat any fighter on the UFC roster right now if he were to compete tomorrow. Big words from a confident young man.
But that’s exactly what the UFC needs, new talent that can self-promote. Danis is the perfect fit to become the next UFC superstar.
