Not only would Nakamura slap Conor’s head off if they met in an MMA bout, he would out-entertain the charismatic McGregor in the fight’s build-up. Nakamura has a star quality to him that transcends language barriers or pro-wrestling styles.
Nakamura fought 5 pro MMA bouts before deciding to focus on pro wrestling. The only loss in those 5 fights was in his first ever bout, and it took a member of the legendary Gracie family (Daniel Gracie) to beat him.
Nakamura would be about a light heavyweight (if not a heavyweight) in MMA, and Conor has had a hard enough time slapping the heads off anyone outside of the lightweight division, so I don’t like his chances against Shinsuke.
