Joe Son
You might remember Joe Son as the guy who got punched in the nuts repeatedly at UFC 4. It was his first ever MMA fight. This was back in the early UFCs remember, where there weren’t rules against that type of thing specifically. So Joe Son is the first to ever lose a UFC bout via groin strikes.
Some might have felt sympathy for Joe Son on that night, but after his crimes were revealed most people probably wish Hackney had hit him even harder. A DNA sample collected after a vandalism charge in 2008 revealed Joe Son had been one of two people responsible for the brutal kidnap and rape of a woman in 1990. He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole.
Then in 2011 he up and killed his cellmate! He has pleaded not guilty but is alleged to have murdered convicted sex offender Michael Thomas Graham on October 10th 2011.
