Cryotherapy Ice Baths

Okay so you bust your butt in training, and your muscles and joints are all sore. All you have to do is climb in a bath of sub-zero temperatures for a minute or two and your body will heal and regenerate faster. At least this is the idea. It’s essentially an ice bath, but like really jacked up and taken to the next level.

Athletes go through a lot of strenuous physical activity and someone came up with a really cool way of speeding up the recovery process. Some say it doesn’t actually work though, and there is no proof that it does. Which means if you do go ahead and give it a shot, you are either getting the latest in cutting-edge sports medicine or you’re paying to freeze your butt off in an ice chamber for hundreds of dollars.

Bottom-line, no one knows if this really works, but it looks really cool and futuristic. Will it help you win MMA fights? Probably not.
