Stipe will have his hands full if the best Fabricio turns up, as Velasquez is arguably the best Wrestler/Boxer in the division, two disciplines that Miocic considers his most dangerous weapons. Miocic does offer some different threats to Werdum, with his athleticism and his sudden and deadly movement.
Miocic has only lost one of his last six, losing to Junior dos Santos in December 2014. The Ohio native will be hoping that he can continue his winning ways though, after a stunning victory in January over former Champion Andrei Arlovski.
Werdum, who has not fought since winning the belt in Mexico City, will be hoping not to suffer from any ring rust as he can’t afford to be off his game at all against Miocic. Sure to be a great fight headlining a great event this Saturday night in Brazil.
