4. Isn’t Everything a Counter?
Goldberg: “After somebody throws a punch isn’t everything the rest of the night a counter?
Rogan: “That’s one way of looking at it”
Goldberg: “It is one way to look at it”
Of course Goldberg is using the literal definition of counter, as in “comes after”. in fighting a strike is only called a counter when one fighter leaves an area of their body open as a result of attempting their own strike. Goldberg just wanted to be funny though. I suppose it’s a little funny, maybe. Actually no, this was not funny.
