UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson wasted no time in responding to Conor McGregor’s strange Instagram post…
Since winning the interim lightweight belt at UFC 216, Tony Ferguson has been on the hunt for Conor McGregor. After defeating Eddie Alvarez for the belt at UFC 205, ‘The Notorious’ took an extended hiatus from MMA duties.
Considering he left the featherweight division in limbo for a year too, McGregor has been subject to a certain amount of criticism. During the past week, a lot of that hate has emanated from ‘El Cucuy.’
Showing a large amount of disdain for his Irish rival, Ferguson has been both vocal and explicit in his threats. Even offering to let McGregor ‘walk away’ from the belt, the Mexican interim boss basically savaged the champ with a number of brutal rants.
Taking some time off from fighting and promoting since his merry-go-round with Floyd Mayweather, McGregor has been pretty much silent on social media, until yesterday:

Ferguson’s Fantastic Response
Apparently, Ferguson has hired some top class video editors for his social media warfare. Adding to his recent vitriols aimed at ‘The Notorious,’ his reaction to McGregor’s only post since UFC 216 is pure class.

What a quality video there and the trend seems to be involving the video game Grand Theft Auto. Here’s some more of Ferguson’s verbal barrage towards McGregor:
“Look, Conor watches the fights. This dude didn’t say sh*t. He didn’t say sh*t on Twitter. He didn’t even comment saying ‘good fight.’ He said he was looking forward to watching this fight — he hasn’t said nothing. The boy is scared. He’s running.
I told him, just set the belt down and walk away and nobody will get hurt. That’s all you’ve got to do: just set it down and you won’t get ass kicked, I swear, by another Mexican.”
Ireland vs. Mexico
I’ll ankle pick him, no problem,” Ferguson told reporters at the UFC 216 post-fight news conference. “I’ll sit him on his ass, and everybody’s the same size on the ground. Conor McGregor poses no threat to me, especially when I hit him with my jab.
He’s going to be running away like Katsunori Kikuno did, and I’ll chase after his ass like a cornerback, and I’ll slam him to the ground and finish him with a D’Arce choke or any other choke of my pleasing.”
“The boy’s scared,” Ferguson said. “He’s never mentioned my name one time. Not one time during this whole entire talk. I’ve been here, I have 10 consecutive victories, I’m interim lightweight champ. It doesn’t matter who they put in front of me. It could be Khabib; it could be Conor. I’m going to go back to the drawing board, and I’m going to talk to my agents and talk to my team. But the fight is with Conor. It is with Conor. You can’t run anymore, man. You’re in check. And I’m great at chess.”
This shitty site is as bias as it is unedited.
