Mixed martial artist and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry still hasn’t forgotten his feud with former Muay Thai and fellow MMA folk Darren Till. According to the American, this is still the main driving force why he’s pushing a bout between them, saying it could be settled in a boxing match in 2024.

The fight between the two has been among the many bouts fans have been waiting to see for years. Yet, despite years of throwing criticism at both sides and almost meeting in the case while still in the UFC, no bout has ever manifested. Yet, while the two are no longer under the same promotion, Perry believes a fight between them could still happen in the future, especially since he’s still not ready to let go of the grudge.

To recall, the feud between the two has grown bigger after Till made more personal comments and criticism, which even included Perry’s then-girlfriend. With this, while the American believes that both of them have matured over time, he admitted that the hate for the Briton is still present due to “his ‘rawdog’ comments.”

“We just want to fight because I want to punch him for things he’s said in the past, but he has grown up a lot as well as I have,” Perry told The MMA Hour. “He said something about rawdogging my new bird, or whatever. I want to f****** scratch his eyes out. That was several years ago, but I don’t let grudges die.”

According to Perry, the bout could be held in a boxing ring since Till is not interested in bare-knuckle boxing. Perry, nonetheless, said there was no problem about the matter. The fighter also assured fans that people are working to make the fight possible, saying it could see the light of day next year.

“I’m thinking [it will happen in 2024],” Perry shared. “They’re working on it. I know a lot of people behind the scenes are working. I’m locked in with BKFC, he doesn’t want to do that. Maybe my own promotion possibilities, Misfits is talking about it.”

While that is good news, fans would still have to take things with a pinch of salt as there is still no confirmation about the bout. After all, Perry still has other things on his plate, including his upcoming fight against Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 56 on December 2.
