Jonathan Haggerty continues his winning streak in One Championship after making another win at ONE Fight Night 19 on Friday.

One Championship gave MMA and Muay Thai fans an interesting event this week featuring Haggerty, who made his first bantamweight Muay Thai belt against Felipe Lobo. The match lasted until the third round, but the British fighter was already showing great dominance during the initial part of the match. “The General” tried to create a distance between him and Lobo, but the latter found his opportunity to deliver some head and body strikes to Haggerty. Later, Lobo sent Haggerty an uppercut that put the opponent on the mat, but that didn’t stop the reigning champ from returning the shots.

The second round was more action-packed, with both sides trading shots against one another. Here, Haggerty avenged his first-round fall by sending Lobo to the canvas through a counter left. After that, Haggerty knew that he had to make a finish to prevent the possible split decision. As such, by the 0:45 mark of the third round, the fighter unleashed an overhand right, which ultimately ended the bout via TKO.

With this, Haggerty received his latest win, which has extended his winning streak to six. Most importantly, the 26-year-old British gets to keep the belt, which he might defend again soon, especially with company executive Chatri Sityodtong having huge plans for him and other fighters eyeing the champ.
