MASSIVE News! Without a doubt the biggest fight to make this year and probably next year. We will potentially see a new undisputed heavyweight champion, one thing for sure is the winner will be from UK.

The last undisputed heavyweight was also from UK which was boxing legend, Lennox Lewis. During that time, there were only three major belts. Now there is more but it does not mean one is better than the other, it is just boxing corruption that makes too many belts to hold.

Although it was a shame, we never got to see the Classic USA vs UK rivalry during peak Wilder vs peak Joshua. It was potentially the biggest fight to make during that time, but after suffering losses the hype was not the same as it was.

Credit to Fury for always wanting to fight the best fighter and risking his undefeated record. He was a massive underdog against Wladimir Klitschko and fought on his enemy’s territory. What made it more impressive was he beat him on the scorecards, on the enemy’s country. Some fans thought the only way to beat the then champion was to knock him out.

Then after a long layoff where he suffered depression and overweight, he only had two tune-up fights prior to facing an undefeated Deontay Wilder. In the fight, most would agree that Fury won on the scorecards but two judges thought different.

He then decided the only way to win is to knock him out which he did on their rematch. He became the WBC heavyweight champion, the only belt he had not won.

As for Joshua, he might be the heavyweight that could pose the biggest threat to Tyson Fury. Many would agree that Fury is currently the best heavyweight but the fighter closest to him would be Joshua.

Joshua may not hit as powerful as Wilder but his fundamentals are far better. His jab and footwork could pose a challenge in Fury’s game. He also has shown to adjust his game plan, just like his rematch with Andy Ruiz where he chose to fight on the outside. Joshua also has decent power and knocked out most of his opponents.

Also one could argue that Joshua has fought better competitors if we just based on the totality of the career wins. Yes, Fury has fought two opponents better which was Klitschko and Wilder but other than that his resume is thin.

Joshua has beaten better fighters like Joshua Parker, Andy Ruiz, Alexander Povetkin, and even Dillian Whyte. Joshua has a win over Klitschko as well and it was a knockout. For sure this fight is the biggest to make right now, the heavyweights is like the premiere division for boxing due to its rich history. As for the news, they only need to secure the Middle East contract and it is pretty much a done deal. Hopefully we get the announcement soon for the date and venue.
